Elm Tree Minerals Signs 100% Option for Gold Property Located South-East of Nelson, British Columbia
Vancouver, B.C. - (June 20, 2012 - TSX-V: ETM) Elm Tree Minerals Inc. (“Elm Tree”) is pleased to announce that it has entered into a Mineral Property Option Agreement (the "Agreement") with S.M. Arshad Amin (“Amin”) pursuant to which Amin has granted Elm Tree an option to acquire a 100% right, title, and interest in and to a group of three (3) contiguous mineral tenures comprising 2,960 acres located in the Nelson Mining Division, British Columbia and known as the Romero Claims.
Terms of the Option
Pursuant to the terms of the Agreement, to earn a 100% interest in the Romero Property, Elm Tree will be required to make total cash payments of $15,000, issue a total of 3,600,000 shares of Elm Tree and incur exploration expenditures of $300,000 over thirty-nine months.
The Romero Property – Nelson, British Columbia
The Romero Property is located approximately fourteen kilometres south of Nelson in south-eastern British Columbia. The claims cover an area of approximately 2,960acres and are centred at latitude N49°24'25.3" and longitude W117°9'34.7" within BC Minerals Titles mapsheet 82F.035, 045.
Access to the Romero Property is via BC Nelson Nelway Highway 6, south from Nelson for 14 kilometres then east along the Whitewater Ski Hill Road. The Highway 6 corridor, which is located along the western border of the claim block, also carries power lines, gas lines and rail bed. Teck's Trail Smelter facility is located about 45 minute drive to the south of the property. The property lies predominantly within lower Jurassic Elise Formation (Rossland Group) mafic volcanics and associated mid Jurassic Silver King intrusive rocks.
Infrastructure in the area is excellent, and a network of new and existing logging access roads services the property. Work on the project can be done most of the year.
