NEWS RELEASE

VATIC VENTURES CORP. ANNOUNCES AMENDING AGREEMENT FOR PROPERTY OPTION AGREEMENT

VANCOUVER, BC, January 14, 2011 – Vatic Ventures Corp. (NEX: VCV.H) (the “Company”) is pleased to announce that it has entered into an amending agreement with Eastland Management Ltd. (“Eastland”) to amend the mineral property option agreement dated May 17, 2010 (the “Option Agreement”), whereby the Company acquired the right to earn an undivided 100% interest in and to certain mineral claims known as the Brookmere property located in the Spences Bridge Gold Belt District, British Columbia, Canada.

The Company filed a Filing Statement (the “Filing Statement”) on SEDAR on December 29, 2010, disclosing the terms of the Option Agreement. Under the original Option Agreement, in order to earn the 100% interest in the Brookmere property, the Company must issued to Eastland 1,000,000 common shares of the Company (each, a “Share”) on the date of the closing of the Option Agreement (the “Closing Date”), 300,000 Shares one year from the Closing Date and 500,000 Shares two years from the Closing Date for a total of 1,800,000 Shares. Under the terms of the amended Option Agreement, the Company must now issue to Eastland 670,000 Shares on the Closing Date, 200,000 Shares one year from the Closing Date and 300,000 Shares two years from the Closing Date for a total of 1,170,000. The Filing Statement discloses that the shares to be issued to Eastland will be subject to an escrow agreement based on the TSX Venture Exchange’s Form 5D. As the total number of shares issued to Eastland under the Option Agreement has been reduced, they will no longer be subject to an escrow agreement.

All other terms of the Option Agreement will remain the same, including the requirement for the Company to pay $15,000 to Eastland on the Closing Date. As the number of Shares to be issued to Eastland was reduced, the Company has agreed with Rider Capital Corp. to reduce the payment to Rider Capital Corp. from 100,000 Shares to 67,000 Shares as a finder’s fee in connection with the Option Agreement.

The Option Agreement is intended to be the Company’s qualifying transaction (the “Qualifying Transaction”). The closing of the Qualifying Transaction (the “Closing”) is subject to certain conditions, including the final acceptance of the TSX Venture Exchange. The Closing is expected to take place on or about January 19, 2011. Trading in the shares of the Resulting Issuer (as defined in Exchange Policy 1.1) is expected to commence two business days after the Closing.

ON BEHALF OF THE BOARD VATIC VENTURES CORP.
