NEWS RELEASE – FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

ROCK TECH INCREASES LAND POSITON TO 11,481 HECTARES ON ITS GEORGIA LAKE LITHIUM PROJECT

Vancouver, British Columbia, April 15, 2010 – The Board of Directors of Rock Tech Resources Inc. ("Rock Tech" or the "Company") is pleased to announce that the Company has been granted 41 claims covering 6,816  hectares  (16,842  acres)  in  426  claim  units  at  its  Georgia  Lake  lithium  project  located  in  the Thunder Bay Mining District in northwest Ontario.

With the acquisition of these claims, Rock Tech holds 100% interest in a total of 11,481 hectares (28,370 acres)  in  the  Georgia  Lake  properties.    These  new  claims,  which  encompass  numerous  historically mapped  spodumene  bearing  pegmatite  dykes,  provide  additional  prospective  ground  around  the existing claim blocks.  Additionally, the newly acquired claims has allowed the Company to consolidate its existing eight claim blocks into three larger contiguous blocks and provides the Company with the potential to expand its historical resource of 9 million tons with grades of 1.14% Li2O¹.

The claims recently granted by the Ontario Ministry of Mines, cover the following historically reported / mapped pegmatite dykes (reference: E. G. Pye 1965):

Dunning Lithium Dykes

Several lithium dykes located about 3,000 feet (914 metres) south of the east end of Palace Lake.

Power Line Lithium Dyke

Is  reportedly  located  along  the  Hydro  Ontario  transmission  line  and  was  investigated  by Noranda Exploration Company Limited in 1955.  A total of seven claims were granted to the Company covering the Dunning and Power Line dykes which are located to the south of Rock Tech’s Conway Claim Block.  During the 2009 winter exploration drill program, Rock Tech drilled 1.62% Li2O over 10.5 metres and 1.54% Li2O over 8.9 metres in two separate drill holes on the Conway Claim Block².

Kenogamisis Lithium Dyke

This  pegmatite  is  a  tabular  shaped  body,  striking  N60°E  and  dipping  70°NW,  and  has  been traced  intermittently  for  about  650  feet  from  the  Shore  of  Downey  Lake.  Three  narrow pegmatite dykes, spaced at intervals of 10 and 40 feet were also mapped on the east shore of Downey Lake.  A total of six claims covering these dykes which are located adjacent to the west of  the  Nama  Creek  Claim  Block  have  been  granted.    Surface  samples  from  the  Nama  Creek Claim Block from the Company’s 2009 ground program indicated 2.16% Li2O³, and 1.10% Li2O with anomalous grades for rare metals⁴.

Foster‐Lew Pegmatite Extension

A  total  of  eleven  claims  were  granted  covering  the  westward  extension  of  the  Foster‐Lew pegmatite dyke.  The Foster lithium bearing pegmatite dyke strikes N80° to 85°E and dips 80° to 85°S, and is exposed for a distance of some 75 metres with a width of some 9 metres.  The Lew pegmatite dyke is located some 450 metres southwest of the Foster dyke, striking northeast and dipping steeply south.  It was traced for a distance of some 30 metres, having a width of 2 to  3  metres.      Surface  samples  from  the  Foster  Lew  Claim  Block  from  the  Company’s  2009 ground program indicated 2.26% Li2O and anomalous values of rare metals⁴.

McVittie Pegmatite Extension Two claims were granted covering the western extension of this dyke which strikes N25°W to N10°W  and  dips  80°E  to  vertical.    During  the  years  1955  to  1956,  Noranda  Mines  Ltd. completed  extensive  exploration  program  consisting  of  prospecting,  trenching,  geological mapping  and  diamond  drilling.    Surface  samples  from  the  McVittie  Claim  Block  from  the Company’s 2009 ground program indicated 1.63% Li2O and anomalous values of rare metals⁴.

Numerous Southern Pegmatites:

Fifteen claims were granted covering numerous pegmatite dykes marked on Geological Map No.  2056,  Georgia  Lake  Area.    These  dykes  are  marked  in  the  area  between  the  Company’s Aumacho River Claim Block and MNW Claim Block.  The Aumacho River Pegmatite contains at least three lithium bearing dykes ‐ Brink (or No. 1), the No. 2, and the No. 5.  A mill test carried out by the Department of Mines and Technical Surveys (Ottawa, Ontario) indicated that heavy media separation would yield 6.27% lithium with a recovery of about 90%, with a second test indicating that floatation would yield a concentrate containing 5.93% lithium at 90% recovery as well.    The  MNW  pegmatite  dyke  occurs  in  massive,  medium‐grained,  pink  granite  and  is localized along a fracture, which strikes north and dips 75° to 80°W.  It ranges up to 13.5 metres in thickness and has been traced in outcrops and trenches intermittently for a distance of about 425 metres.  The main dyke on the MNW Claim Block was sampled by an operator and was found to average better than 1.5% Li2O.  2009 surface samples assay results from these blocks indicated  up  to  7.22%  Li2O  and  significant  anomalous  values  of  rare  metals,  including  up  to 3.54% beryllium and 0.39% cesium⁴.
