NAVY RESOURCES CORP. ACQUIRES FAE PROPERTY

NAVY RESOURCES CORP. (“Navy” or the “Company”) January 4, 2016, Vancouver, BC, is pleased to announce that it has entered into a definitive agreement to purchase a 100% interest in the Fae Project which is composed of 2 contiguous mineral claims located totaling 374.25 hectares in the Atlin Mining Division of northwestern British Columbia (the “Fae Property”). In consideration for the purchase, the Company has paid $15,000 CAD and will issue 100,000 shares of the Company to Andrew Molnar upon receiving acceptance by the TSX Venture Exchange.

The Fae claims are located approximately 120 km west of Dease Lake B.C., in a highly active area of exploration which includes the Golden Bear Mine located 15 km to the southwest, Garibaldi Resources Grizzly Project located 15 km to the southeast, Prosper Gold’s Star Project located 20 km to the east, and Teck Resources Eagle Project located 20 km to the southeast.

The area of the Fae Property was initially explored in the 1960’s for its porphyry copper potential. The discovery of the Golden Bear deposit in the early 1980’s, renewed gold exploration interest in the area.

The property saw significant geological work during the late 1980’s at which time programmes by Chevron Canada Limited and Tahltan Holdings Ltd outlined several areas outside of the main Fae Porphyry zone which returned anomalous precious metal results.

British Columbia Mineral Assessment Report (BCMAR) number 17891 by Tahltan Holdings Ltd. reported:

  • In the Vermillion Ridge Area, grab sample (JCF674) returned 1440 ppb Gold and 7.8 ppm Silver from a quartz-carbonate with fuschsitic stock work zone.
  • In the Fae Ridge area, sample number DY550 returned 6900 ppb Gold, 10.35 oz/ton Silver, 2095 ppm Copper, and 2912 ppm Zinc over 1.5 metres.
  • In the Tag Creek area, sample number LB600 returned 2300 ppb Gold over 1.5 meters.

In 2007, Pagent Minerals Corp. conducted a rock sampling programme in the Vermillion Ridge Area from where grab sample number 147267 returned 17.78 g/t Gold, 120.9 ppm Silver, and 12,261 ppm Copper (BCMAR 29395).

In a subsequent program in 2011, Pagent Minerals Corp. reported drilling one 477.62 meter diamond drill hole to test the mineralized extent of the Fae Porphyry System (BCMAR 32562). Pagent Minerals Corp reported the following results:
