CAVAN ANNOUNCES PRIVATE PLACEMENT EXTENSION

June 16, 2014, VANCOUVER, B.C. – CAVAN VENTURES INC. (TSX-V: CVN) (“Cavan” or “the Company”) further to its news releases of March 28, 2014, April 10, 2014, May 16, 2014 and June 13, 2014, the Company wishes to announce that the closing of its non-brokered private placement of 10 million nonflow through units (the "Offering") has been further extended until June 30, 2014 to allow the investors time to complete and deliver their subscription agreements.

All other terms of the Offering remain the same.

The private placement is subject to the approval of the TSX Venture Exchange.
