CAVAN HIRES NEW CORPORATE COMMUNICATION CONSULTANT
Vancouver, British Columbia, CANADA (June 7, 2011) – Cavan Ventures Inc.
(TSX.V-CVN), (http://www.cavanventures.com) (the “Company”) is pleased
to announce that, it is welcoming Mr. Boris Ziger HBa, MBA as a new consultant to
the Company, effective immediately. Mr. Ziger joins the company in a consulting
capacity as Corporate Communications Advisor.
Mr. Ziger brings twenty years of experience to the company and has been a senior
officer and director of public companies in the past and currently sits on the board
of directors of FTI Foodtech International Inc. He has in the past worked in both the
banking and investment industries as a senior account executive and investment
adviser where he assisted companies to gain access to capital markets and in the
evaluation of new projects. He has earned a Master of Business Administration
Degree from the Odette School of Business and an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree
in Economics and Psychology from York University.
Mr. Ziger will provide corporate communications and investor relations activities
including introducing the company to potential investors. The agreement is
effective immediately for a duration of 12 months although, it may be terminated
by either party at any time given two months notice. Mr. Ziger will be paid a
monthly fee of $2,000 plus approved expenses for his services. Any amendments to
the agreement are subject to prior Exchange approval.
