Rain Announces Nominations to its Board of Directors
Tuesday June 25, 2024 – Vancouver, BC – Rain City Resources Inc. (RAIN:CSE) (the “Company”
or “Rain”) is pleased to nominate Bernadette D’Silva and Murray Tevlin as Board Directors effective
at the Company’s next Annual General Meeting.
Bernadette D'Silva has over 20 years’ experience in corporate governance, capital markets and
corporate finance. Ms. D'Silva is currently serving a second three-year term in an advisory capacity to
the British Columbia Securities Commission (BCSC) Corporat e Finance Stakeholder Forum, which
advises the BCSC on policy initiatives, capital market trends and other emerging issues, and continues
to serve as an officer and director of various public companies. Ms. D'Silva was previously the VP of
Corporate Services for Leagold Mining Corporation and prior to that was the Senior VP of Corporate
Finance at Fiore Management and Advisory Corp. She holds an Executive MBA from Simon Fraser
University and an ESG designation from Competent Board.
Murray Tevlin is an accomplished lawyer who now specializes in corporate governance, strategic
leadership and executive mentoring. After a career in contract litigation , and negotiation and dispute
resolution, Mr. Tevlin joined the Board of Avigilon Corporation prior to its IPO and became Lead Director
and Chair of the corporation’s Governance Committee. Mr. Tevlin also served as Chair of the Special
Committee leading the successful US$1B sale to Motorola Systems Corp. Mr. Tevlin was a partner at
Russell & DuMoulin, and served on its executive committee at the time of their merger with Fask en
Martineau DuMoulin . He was a founding partner of Tevl in Gleadle Curtis, a pre-eminent British
Columbia law firm, and continues to serve on a number of corporate boards.
The Company’s Chairman, David Shaw, commented, “We are very pleased to nominate Ms. D’Silva
