Dark Star Announces Change of Directors and Officers 

VANCOUVER, BC, JUNE 2, 2023: DARK  STAR MINERALS INC. (CSE: BATT ) (the “Company”) is pleased to 

announce the appointment of Douglas H. Unwin as a director of the Company. 

Douglas H. Unwin, Director 

Mr.  Unwin  is  an  experienced  executive  with  30  years  of  diverse experience  as  an  entrepreneur  in  life 

sciences, aquaculture and telecommunications. Mr. Unwin is the  President and Chief Executive Officer 

(“CEO”) of Geological Resource Corp. (CSE: GRCM) and former Presiden t and CEO of Pacific Therapeutics 

Ltd. (now Tower One Wireless Corp.) (“Pacific Therapeutics”)(CSE: TO), from inception in September 2005 

until August 2015. Mr. Unwin has spent the last 16 years focuse d on life science start‐ups, technology 

commercialization and venture ca pital financing. Prior to found ing Pacific Therapeutics, Mr. Unwin was 

the CEO of Med BioGene Inc. (now Many Bright Ideas Technologies  Inc.) (TSXV: MBI); a start‐up medical 

device company. Mr. Unwin graduated from the University of Brit ish Columbia with a B.Sc. in Biology in 

1981. In 1985, Mr.  Unwin graduated from the University of  Saska tchewan  with  a  master’s  in  business 

administration. 

The appointment of Mr. Unwin accompanies the resignation of Son g Lim as a director. Dark Star thanks 

Mr. Lim for his services and wishes him all the best in his future endeavors.
