Vancouver, BC – SIERRA IRON ORE CORPORATION (“Sierra” or the “Company”) is pleased to announce that Mr. Ellis Martin has joined the Company as a director.
Mr. Martin, created The Ellis Martin Report in 1999 as a successful terrestrial radio resource for small and mid-cap public companies seeking to vastly expand their shareholder base as they in turn grow their companies. The Ellis Martin Report airs in major radio markets in the United States and globally through online media. Prior to that Mr. Martin served as Senior Vice President for the Phoenix Media Group in Burbank, California, Station Manager and Program Director for WHB-AM in Kansas City, Missouri and KMZU-FM in Carrollton, Missouri, two of the largest Agriculture Country Stations in the Mid-West. Mr. Martin served as an Instructor/Lecturer for the Academy of Radio Broadcasting in Huntington Beach, California and a variety of broadcasting positions across the US.
Mr. Martin is considered one of the premiere broadcast journalists in the resource sector globally and is a regular media attendee at the Prospector & Developers Association of Canada (PDAC). He studied business administration and broadcast journalism at Northeastern University in Boston and The University of New Mexico. Mr. Martin has been an entrepreneur with interests in media, entertainment and financial concerns since 1978.
The Company also advises that Mr. Roger Frost has resigned from the board of directors effective immediately. The board of directors wishes to thank Mr. Frost for his past service and wishes him well in his other endeavors.
